Ohio Veterans Job Fair for Friday, September 7th, 2012

The global leader in solar solutions will open its factory in Napoleon in November 2012

Napoleon, Ohio, August 28, 2012 – In light of the forthcoming opening of its factory in Napoleon, Ohio in November, ISOFOTON North America (INA), global leader in solar solutions, is pleased to announce an INA Flyer Final for September 7, 2012. The job fair will start promptly at 9 a.m. at the Henry County Office Complex at 1853 Oakwood Avenue, Napoleon, Ohio 43545.

U.S. Military Veteran applicants, who reside in Ohio, are requested to email resumes to h.mallette@isofoton.com or j.gongwer@isofoton.com prior to the event. Those Ohio veteran’s able to email resumes in advance will then be grouped according to skill sets for the positions that are open at the plant, both Salaried and Hourly.

Those Ohio veterans not able to email resumes are requested to bring their resume to the job fair. All Ohio veteran applicants will be required to fill out a job application at the Job Fair. Interviews will then be arranged based first on emailed resumes and then on a first come first serve basis.

In this case, we are opening our doors to one of society’s most important pillars, military veterans, those who have given so much of themselves, by offering a firm opportunity to demonstrate their expertise and experience.” Serrano also added that “The USA is a key market for us as it will lead the photovoltaic market in the next decade.” According to data published by the EPIA (European Photovoltaic Industry Association), the U.S.is predicted to capture a future market share of 22%, compared to the current 5%.”

ISOFOTON will create 120 posts during the initial opening of its new factory alone and expects to increase this figure to 330 jobs by 2013 when the factory will be operating at full capacity.

Isofoton attributes its success to clear technology leadership in the development of photovoltaic solar platforms through close partnerships with advanced research centers and universities around the world. In this context, ISOFOTON and the University of Toledo in Ohio, located in the hub of one of the most important and growing North American solar clusters, have signed a collaboration agreement to advance workforce training and to originate the co-development of strategic applied research proposals.

On July 6, 2011, the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) announced that ISOFOTON chose Napoleon, Ohio, as the new home for its North American manufacturing facility, which will initially consist of a 50 MW crystalline silicon PV module assembly line with fully automated REIS technology. The factory will start off creating 120 secure energy manufacturing jobs supporting families and communities with plans to reach up to 330 direct jobs within three operational years once the Turning Point Solar (TPS) project in Noble County, Ohio, is launched and underway. In tandem with starting TPS, ISOFOTON North America expects to ramp up to a 300 MW assembly line in the short term, with plans to subsequently add a 100 MW cell line during the 2013-2014 timeframe.
